Apple Gears Up For a Thinner 15" MacBook Pro With Retina Display

Reports reveal Apple working on a thinner, better MacBook Pro, with a higher-resolution Retina display, sporting USB 3.0 ports. Apple readies revamped 15-inch MacBook Pro: Retina Display, ultra-thin design, and super-fast USB 3 - 9to5Mac stated that the updated version currently in production, is slated for a summer release. Although earlier rumors conveyed the new MacBook Pro's design shall be inspired by the MacBook Air, the sources believe it's not the case- Instead of  MacBookAir's taper, there is just a thinner 15" variant of itself. It's also rumored that the optical drive shall be sacrificed for its thinner form. Also the aluminum power button that proudly rests above your keyboard, finds itself among other keys in the keyboard itself, same like in MacBook Air.

Other better features apart from the high-resolution Retina display, includes the USB 3.0 ports, which have been tested for a while now, but the new MacBook Pro will be the first to show them off. Instead of substituting for Thunderbolt, the USB 3.0 shall run parallel. The launch date of the new MacBook Air still remains a mystery.
