Kaustubh KatdareAmazon continues to impress me more than any other tech/ecommerce company in the world. They're making slow entry in Indian markets. A few months ago, the company launched Junglee in Indian markets to 'taste the waters'. Now they have launched the much awaited ebook store with over a million books. The big thing is going to be the ebook delivery - which is almost instant.
Flipkart needs to worry!
Flipkart, I think, will the most affected eCommerce giant because of Amazon's entry in the markets. Just take a look at the price difference. Chetan Bhagat's Revolution 2020 costs Rs 98 + Shipping on Flipkart while on Amazon Kindle, it's just Rs. 86 along with instant delivery. It's a no brainer that Amazon's going teach Flipkart's lunch slowly.
