Amazon Fire TV Stick arrives in India for Rs.3999

Streaming is gaining ground in India thanks to cheaper and faster mobile internet. Last week Airtel launched its #-Link-Snipped-# hybrid set-top box and this week it the turn of Amazon. Amazon has launched the Fire TV Stick in India. The Amazon Fire TV Stick has been priced at Rs. 3999. The Amazon Fire TV Stick allows you to access streaming content from various services including the in-house Amazon Prime Video, Hotstar, Netflix, YouTube, Eros Now and Gaana. Just like Google Chromecast 2 which is coincidentally Flipkart exclusive you can mirror your smartphone’s display on your HDTV. Just like Google Chromecast you need additional power input to fire up the Amazon Fire TV Stick which is plugged into the HDMI port of your TV. You need it to connect it to Wi-Fi which Amazon says should carry over 4MBps for best experience.
