Alcatel Flash smartphone features 13+13+8+5 megapixel cameras, deca-core CPU and 3GB RAM

Alcatel has quietly unveiled the Alcatel Flash, which is now the world's first smartphone to boast a dual front and dual rear camera setup along with a deca-core CPU. Yes, you read it right. The smartphone comes with a total of four camera lenses fitted on its body and that takes it a step ahead of the many other new smartphones released in 2017 featuring a dual camera setup, like the LG G6, Vivo V5 Plus, Huawei P10 or the OPPO F3 Plus.

Coming to the details of the optics on the new Alcatel Flash, there is 13 + 13-megapixel dual camera set up at the rear with the dual 6P lens, f/2.0 aperture, close loop phase detection autofocus (PDAF) accompanied by a dual tone LED flash. One of those 13-megapixel cameras features the Sony IMX258 sensor at the back and captures colored (RGB) photos while the other shoots in monochrome. The two images from both sensors are then merged by an internal image processor thus offering more depth and quality on the final image output.

The front snapper is equipped with a 8 + 5-megapixel setup along with dual-tone LED flash and same features like the rear, with the 5-megapixel camera working for depth of focus effect. The phone also includes various modes like the Super Night Mode, Manual Focus Mode, Super Selfie Mode, Panorama Mode, Super Video Mode alongside other camera editing tools for an unmatched superior camera experience.
Additionally, the rear camera setup supports RAW file output for professional images, that enables the advanced users to handle the editing process manually.

There is a 5.5-inch Full HD IPS display on the top with Dragontrail Glass protection and fingerprint-resistant Oleophobic coating. The handset runs on Android Marshmallow 6.0 and is fueled by a 3100mAh battery. On the connectivity front, there is Dual nano SIM dual standby with 4G LTE support, Wi-Fi 802.11/b/g/n, Bluetooth v4.1, GPS/GLONASS/Beidou for positioning and USB type C.

The new Alcatel Flash is listed on the company's official website but there is no information regarding the pricing and availability.
