Adafruit Circuit Playground iOS App Is For Electronics Engineers. Costs $2.99 Only.

We know that the hardest part of being an electronics engineer is deciphering the resistor & capacitor codes and correctly remembering the Ohm's law. But worry no more. Adafruit has just released an iOS app that will ease your professional life and also help in your studies by doing the hard job so that you can concentrate on finishing your miniature hadron collider. The app works on both iPhone and iPad and simplifies -

[*]Decoding of resistor & capacitor color codes
[*]Power, resistance, current, Ohm's law related calculations through power calc module
[*]Conversion between decimal - HEX - Binary - ASCII characters
[*]Series & Parallel resistor / capacitor setup related calculations
[*]Find references from stored datasheets and PDFs (excellent!)

Adafruit Circuit Playground App For iPad

Adafruit is already working on adding more capabilities to the app including new calculators and tools.  The $2.99 price will also grant you a $3 credit at the Adafruit online shop - so more or less the app is available for free. The company says that the Android version of the app is in development but there's no information available about the launch date & price. Check out the following video demonstration of the App. You may download the app from #-Link-Snipped-#.
