Acer Liquid Z530 and Z630s Arrive In Time For Diwali Season

Acer Liquid series of smartphones in India has just got two new entrants with Acer Liquid Z530 and Liquid Z630s launching amidst the festive season. Falling in two different budget categories, the Liquid Z530 is priced at Rs. 6999, whereas the Z630s is priced at Rs. 10,999. Acer India has partnered with leading e-commerce portal Flipkart for exclusive sale of both these smartphones. While the Z530 has gone on sale today since midnight, the Z630s is going to be made available only via flash sale - the first of which is scheduled to happen on November 12. Registrations for same begin today. Let's take a look at the features of both these smartphones.

The Acer Liquid Z530 features IPS1 technology for wide viewing angles, Acer's trademark Lumiflex technology that lets you see a brighter world and a Zero Air Gap design that reduces reflections for better contrast and sunlight visibility. Running on Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system, the Liquid Z530 features a 5 inch touch screen HD display.

Running atop a 1.3 GHz Quad Core processor coupled with 2GB RAM and 16GB ROM, the Z530's memory can be expanded up to 32 GB via microSD card slot. This Dual SIM phone supports 4G cards. The Android OS on the phone is layered with the elegant Acer Liquid UI.

Next on the list is the Acer Liquid Z630s which features the Android 5.1 OS and an 64-bit 1.3 GHz Octa Core processor. The phone's 5.5 inch HD screen has a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels and 267 PPI pixel density.

Powered by a 1.3 GHz 64-bit Octa Core processor, the Acer Liquid Z630s features 3 GB RAM and 32 GB internal memory. The camera on the front and rear both has a 8 megapixel sensor with a bunch of smart capturing features.

The internet and connectivity options on both these phones include - support for Bluetooth 4.0, 4G connectivity, A-GPS, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, GPRS, EDGE, 3G HSPA+, USB, microUSB and OTG support.

An unique factor for both new Acer Liquid smartphone is that they are joining the new 'Make in India' league as they will be manufactured at the company's Pondicherry based facility. The makers of the phones believe that, while the Liquid Z530 will appeal to the youth who just want to stay connected 24x7, the Liquid 630s will appeal to the highly social user who has an eye for elegance and beauty.
