Acer CloudMobile Leaks Prior To MWC, Wins iF Design Award
After #-Link-Snipped-# and #-Link-Snipped-#'s new release information, it's time for some news from Acer. Companies have been trying not to spill the beans before their official announcement at the MCW but this time Acer could not contain their excitement and announced their upcoming release. The excitement is because their new flagship smartphone has won the iF design award 2012 for its achievement in design of the phone.

The Acer CloudMobile name has been coined after their new cloud technology announced during CES 2012, the AcerCloud. AcerCloud is similar to iCloud from Apple, which lets users to access their contents from their CloudMobile anytime. The Acer CloudMobile is the first phone to have a complete integration with this service.
The Acer CloudMobile sports a slim design with a thickness of less than 10mm. The phone also features Dolby speakers on the rear and a stainless steel looks on the front adds to the design statement of the phone. The screen of the phone is a 4.3 inch HD laminated display with thin bezel which gives the look and feel of an elegant smartphone.
The CloudMobile runs on Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) and other than that no further specifications of the phone has been released. We have to wait till the end of February to see the official unveiling of the phone at MWC. The Acer CloudMobile is expected to be available in the third quarter of 2012.
