10.or's first smartphone - 10.or E to be Amazon Exclusive, features 13MP camera and more at Rs 7,999

10.or, a new smartphone brand which has just popped out from nowhere will soon be launching its first smartphone exclusively via Amazon in India. The manufacturers have just aired their website with all the necessary details and any more information about the phone can further be found on Amazon India. Designed with a different approach, this new device promises to reflect the power of 0 and 1, the bits which are the core of any digital computing hardware. Thus, the name stands out to be 10.or, pronounced as Tenor.

10.or E smartphone comes with a 5.5-inch screen with full HD display. It has Corning Gorilla Glass 3 which provides protection against scratch and dust. Also present is 2.5 D curved glass coating that ensures overall finish and smooth edges from the design perspective. The device is available in two color variants namely Aim Gold and Beyond Black and will soon be hitting the stores. It will be Amazon Exclusive and will be available mostly before the much awaited Samsung Galaxy Note 8.

At its core lies a Snapdragon 430 Octa Core processor which is supported by 2GB/ 3GB of RAM as per the model variant. The 2GB RAM Model comes with 16 GB internal memory whereas the 3GB RAM Model will have a ROM of only 32 GB. The device memory is further expandable up to 128 GB via a dedicated micro SD card slot to ensure the memory requirements for a wide variety of uses. Camera features are also up to the mark as it has 13 MP primary camera with CMOS sensor and PDAF (Phase Detection Autofocus). The front camera consists of 5 MP sensor and both the camera has flash support.

One of the advantageous features of this smartphone is the latest version of Android v7.1.2 Nougat OS and Google Assistant which it comes with. It will be a stock Android device and will come with regular security updates and will even support the all new Android 8.0 Oreo upgrade.

Apart from a beautiful camera and high-quality design, the smartphone comes with a high performing fingerprint sensor at the back that unlocks the smartphone in less than 0.2 seconds when awake and within 0.8 seconds when asleep. The smartphone has other onboard sensors like proximity, accelerometer, etc. which are nowadays common to a smartphone. Connectivity wise, the smartphone hosts two dual SIM slot with dual standby support. The primary slot supports 4G VoLTE whereas the secondary supports 2G functionality. Apart from that, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, USB tethering are also present as additional connectivity option in this device. The device is powered by 4000 mAh high-density Li-ion battery which lasts up to two days on full charge.

Many of us will be thinking that the features are pretty snappy in this smartphone manufactured by this new brand. Let me point out the price of this smartphone which will shock us even more. The 2GB RAM+16 GB ROM variant will cost Rs 7,999 whereas the 3GB+32 GB ROM variant will cost Rs 8,999 respectively. Not only that it is also offering a 1-year warranty on their devices and a dedicated number of service centers which are already established all over across India. Though there is still much to know about this device, it is anticipated that both 10.or and Amazon India will slowly unfold the curtain before the final showdown of this device. If it performs as promised, its mid budget price and efficient design will surely win the hearts of many tech enthusiasts.
