'Subscribe' Option - The Next Roll Out From Facebook

After the arrival of Google+, Facebook is keep on updating its features to hold on to its top position in social networking business. The recent update from Facebook which is the "#-Link-Snipped-#" feature reflects almost the Twitter Follow option. This new feature would let the users to keep updated with news feed from people who are not friends to them, which was impossible before. This could be helpful to journalists, artists, politicians and celebrities to share with the whole world without any restrictions and they no more need to create pages seperately.

This Subscribe button will be residing on  the profile page of users who #-Link-Snipped-# this feature. See in the picture below, the button circled by a dark brown oval is the Subscribe button.

Through this Subscribe feature anyone can subscribe to anyone's news feed (status updates and more) without the need for any permissions, similar to following in Twitter. To subscribe to ones news feed all we got to do is just 'click' that subscribe button residing on the top of profile page. Also to beat off the older method of getting the every bit of news feed from friends and to let the users to get the updates more specific, this subscription feature gives the subscribers 3 options to choose from.

Types Of Subscription To Choose From

The first option "All Updates" would let the subscriber to get every bit of updates. Next the "Most Updates", option which is similar to normal news feeds and finally the "Important Updates" which would highlight important things like job postings and movings. This new adoption of one-way communication that already exists in both Twitter and Google+ as follow and friend respectively, would help the hotshots who were having hard time maintaining both Facebook Page and a personal profile simultaneously. Also this new feature is optional, so no one need to worry about their privacy or something.

Also using Facebook, already we can Tweet into Twitter by linking the Facebook Pages, now we can even link our Facebook profile to the Twitter to Tweet our Facebook updates into Twitter. This is so dominating actions from Facebook, I could say that.
