Ziox unveals Duopix F1 with 8+2 MP dual selfie camera, face recognition feature and more at Rs 7,499

Ziox Mobiles, a Delhi based smartphone manufacturing company, has recently launched a new smartphone named Duopix F1 in India. Priced at Rs 7,499, the main features of this device is its dual selfie cameras, Android Nougat 7.0 OS, and ViLTE support. ViLTE stands for video over LTE and this feature allows the user to perform video conferencing with their device. The smartphone will soon be out for sale via online e-commerce websites, however, it is now available at Ziox authorized offline retail stores.

Talking about the specifications of the device, the smartphone comes with a 12.7 cm (5 inch) IPS HD laminated screen with 2.5 D curved glasses. It has a rectangular design with curved edges and a plastic body that contains all the necessary hardware. It comes in three color variants namely - grey, gold, and black of which all of them are equally beautiful.

Processor wise, the device has a 1.3 GHz quad-core chipset supported by 2 GB of ROM. It has internal memory of 16 GB which is further expandable over microSD.

Camera features are pretty decent as it has dual selfie camera with 8 MP + 2 MP sensor with features like autofocus and LED flash. It also has a primary camera of 8 MP with autofocus and LED flash support. It also supports face recognition which is a software-based feature to unlock the device using the front-facing cameras.

Connectivity features include but are not limited to Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, etc. It also has 3.5 mm jack for audio accessibility and OTG support. It has dual hybrid SIM slots with one compatible with micro while the other is compatible with nano SIM. Proximity sensor, Ambient light sensor, and Gravity sensor are the main sensors present on this device. The phone is powered by 2400 mAh Li-ion battery with fast charging support.

Hence, at a price of Rs 7,499, Ziox Duopix F1 offers a decent hardware and features like face recognition, dual selfie cameras, video conferencing and more which are only available in premium tier smartphones. The only downside this device has is its unknown processor and lesser RAM. However, if coupled with few offers, this phone has the potential to reach many buyers who are looking for premium specs but at a cheaper price.
