    No competition, I guess.
Is it only gadget in the market with 2.2GHz quad-core snapdragon 800 & Adreno 330 GPU cores ? I think so!

BTW what does TRILUMINOS screen means ? scratch-resistant ? Are they using anyother technology other than Corning's GGv3 ? 😕

Its a new lcd backlight tech..
A traditional LED LCD uses blue LEDs, coated with a yellow phosphor, to create "white" light which passes through RGB filters. While reasonably efficient this still creates a lot of "wasted" energy.
Triluminos uses blue LEDs, but instead of coating ,the blue light from the LEDs passes optical element containing red and green quantum dots.

So the blue LEDs have two functions: create blue light, but also energize red- and green-emitting quantum dots so they in turn can create red and green light.

About two-thirds of the light created by the blue LEDs is used to excite the QDs. Cool, right? No wasted energy & equal RGB illumination.

Scratch resistant: No but Sony uses tempered glass which is much tougher glass. Also sony installs a screen protector by default which protects the display from scratches
GG3😁emo of the tempered glass and CES 2013 suggests it's much more tougher than GG2...
