The media caught a rumor buzzing around that the 100-year-old Sharp corporation, native to Japan, will soon launch Aquos S2, probably on 8th of August, 2017. The company will be able to change the game of big names in the consumer electronics market if the leaks are proven true. A teaser came out a couple of weeks ago with a press invite for a smartphone launch event that clearly indicates a new product will soon catch our attention. Killing no more time, let us make you aware of what we know about this product so far.

Not the best source to believe, but recently an image of AQUOS S2 (105 Limited Edition) has surfaced on the internet showing its 5.5" bezel-less display proffering a 4K resolution. Also, the phone will be embellished with an under-glass fingerprint sensor, a trick that Samsung failed to manage for its flagship Galaxy S8 device.

Further, the same image gave us a hint that the new phone can come up with vertically aligned dual rear-camera setup, just like the rumored iPhone-8. The duo will probably have 12 MP each while the front camera will offer a 8 MP sensor. Previous reports unveil that the Sharp Aquos S2 will be offered in two variants with model numbers FS8010 and FS8016, among which one will possess a heart of a Snapdragon 660 (FS8016) and another will be powered by Snapdragon 630 coupled with either a 6GB or a 4GB RAM.

Storage wise, the phone will sport an internal 64 GB space and will run on Nougat 7.1.1. Presently, the Sharp Corporation does run a business in India but to catch the real deal they need to improve their strategies.
