Project Tango Based Phone Lenovo Phab 2 Pro Commercially Launched At $499

Like a gush of wind, CES 2016 had witnessed a colorful spectrum of hi-tech “would be coming” products in January. Now, as the time has passed following its very own nature, the days have come when one of the most discussed products of CES’16, Lenovo And Google To Push Augmented Reality Further: Announce First Project Tango Smartphone-Lenovo phone has gotten alive in commercial business and has just taken its first breath in the stage of official debut in US. The augmented reality in a smartphone dream has taken shape in Lenovo Phab 2 Pro and soon to be relished by our palm.

Google has been working for a long time in Project Tango, supposedly an electronic manifestation of human eye vision, which has been incorporated in mobile devices to deliver a real-time real-world experience. In short, mostly one eyed (back) pocket size devices now could be able to see the world in our way with the help of image processing tools and computer vision technology. However, from the first look it seems that the backside of the phone features more than one camera to precisely rework on the framed reality.

Being developed as an open-source cross platform project, sister game applications and compatible software have been already developed and smoothly. Reportedly, Google+Lenovo team would soon release a pack consisting of 100 specially crafted applications for its newest venture by 2017.

Marking its inherent feature, the body possesses a unibody metal grade chassis with a back-engraved camera column sporting a set of cameras for the fulfilment of aforementioned purpose. On the front, a max 6.4 inch Quad HD (resolution: 2560x1440) IPS display is pasted. Powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 652 processor, the tab sized phone features a decent 64 GB storage with 4 GB RAM with further storage boosting option of 128 GB microSD.

Packed with 4,050mAh battery supporting fast charging option, the phone features dual SIM slot and contemporary USB port support. Camera wise, the rear set has 16 MP each while the front one sports fixed-focus camera with F2.2 aperture. Priced at $499 USD the phone will be globally available from August.
