Nokia 3, Nokia 5 & Nokia 6 Launched In India: Pricing and Availability Details Here

HMD Global, the independent Finnish company which holds the rights to the legendary Nokia name have launched their 3 Android Nougat smartphones in India. The Nokia 3, Nokia 5 and Nokia 6 were launched at a glittering press event just a few hours ago. The Nokia 3, Nokia 5 and Nokia will be made in India starting with the Nokia 3 in a phased manner. For customer support Nokia Mobile Care centres will be established in 300 cities. Pick-up and drop facilities will be available in 100 more locations. The Nokia smartphones will be sold both offline and online. The Nokia 3 and Nokia 5 will be offline exclusives and the Nokia 6 will be an Amazon India exclusive. The Nokia 3 has been priced at Rs. 9,499 and will be available in brick and mortar shops from June 16th. The Nokia 5 will go up for pre-order in retail stores from July 7 for Rs. 12,899. The Nokia 6 will arrive on Amazon India for Rs. 14,999. Registrations for the July 16th sale will begin from July 14th. Amazon Prime customers will get an additional Rs. 1000 off while purchasing the Nokia 6 while using Amazon Pay. Nokia 6 customers will get additional discount on Kindle e-books. All the three smartphones from Nokia will have dual-SIM support and work on 4G VoLTE of Reliance Jio. Nokia has appointed P V Sindhu to be the face of Nokia 3 and Nokia 5.

Nokia-3 Nokia-5

The Nokia 3 features a 5inch IPS panel HD (1280 x 720 pixels) resolution display which is encased in 2.5D curved Corning Gorilla Glass. Underneath the hood we find a MediaTek MTK 6737 chipset with 1.3GHz quad-core processor and 2GB of RAM running Android Nougat. The Nokia 3 has an internal memory of 16GB and support for memory expansion of up to 128GB. When it comes to cameras we have a 8MP LED equipped sensor on the rear and 8MP camera on the front. The Nokia 3 is powered by a 2630mAh battery. The Nokia 5 on the other hand has a 5.2inch IPS panel display which is encased in Corning Gorilla Glass. Underneath the hood we have a Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 chipset which houses a 1.4GHz octa-core CPU, Adreno 505 GPU and 2GB of RAM. You get the same 16GB internal memory and expansion with microSD card of up to 128GB. On the rear you have a 13MP PDAF camera with dual tone flash and on the front you have a 8MP camera. The Nokia 5 is powered by a 3000mAh battery.

Nokia-6

The Nokia 6, which is the current flagship which will soon be replaced by Nokia 9. The Nokia 6 has a 5.5inch Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) resolution display which is shrouded in Corning Gorilla Glass. The Nokia 6 has the same Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 chipset but with bigger 3GB of RAM. The internal memory of the Nokia 6 stands at 32GB and microSD card slot for expansion of up to 128GB. The Nokia 6 has 16MP PDAF camera which is equipped with dual-tone flash. On the front we have an 8MP sensor. The Nokia 6 is powered by a 3000mAh battery. The Arte Black edition which is supposed to have 4GB of RAM and 64GB internal memory has not been launched in India yet.
