Chips within the headsets estimate brainwave signals and adn transfer data via Bluetooth to interact with the user's device wirelessly, explained NeuroSky's Taiwan branch representative Giant Lin. Nothing short of amazing, the device is able to detect what the user's thinking, and employing this same path-breaking technology, someday user may be able to control his car.

The company has been aiming its Mindwave technology at brain training games and educational apps, and has already been adapted by many schools across Malaysia and Singapore to aid students in improving their concentration. This technology holds huge potential in Indian and Chinese communities where education and related focus is give a lot of importance, believes the company.

Presently, the firm is seeking out new partners in order to develop new applications where the chips could be used.
