Micromax Evok Note and Evok Power land as Flipkart exclusives

Micromax Informatics Limited is trying the make the best of the 4G revolution in India. It is launching smartphones across all price brackets. Just this month it launched the #-Link-Snipped-# which is a flagship handset featuring exceptional cameras for Rs. 24,999 and the entry-level #-Link-Snipped-# that costs just Rs. 3750. The company is looking to expand its portfolio in the sub Rs. 10K range with its Evok range of smartphones. The company has launched the Evok Note and Evok Power in the country. The Evok Note and Evok Power will go on sale exclusively on Flipkart. The Evok Note has been priced at Rs. 9499 and the Evok Power has been priced at Rs. 6999.

Micromax-Evok-Note

The Micromax Evok Note as the name suggests has a large 5.5inch display that has a Full HD resolution and is shrouded in 2.5D curved glass to avoid sharp edges. The Micromax Evok Note runs Android Marshmallow with the help of MediaTek MT6753 chipset that houses 1.3GHz octa-core processor and 3GB of RAM. This makes it much more capable to fight against most Intex smartphones found in this price range. The Micromax Evok Note has an internal memory of 32GB and supports microSD cards of up to 32GB for memory expansion. The Micromax Evok Note has a 13MP camera on the rear with LED flash and a 5MP camera on the front for selfies. The Micromax Evok Note features a fingerprint sensor on the home button for additional security. Just like all new Micromax smartphones the Micromax Evok Note also supports 4G LTE. The Micromax Evok Note is powered 4000mAh battery. This puts it directly head to head with the entry level Redmi Note 4. The Micromax Evok Note will go on sale soon on Flipkart for Rs. 9499.

Micromax-Evok -Power

The Micromax Evok Power comes with a less expensive price tag of Rs. 6,999 and has been placed to compete with the entry level Redmi 4A. The highlight of Micromax Evok Power is the 4000mAh battery that can push the smartphone to last for up to 2 days on average use. The Micromax Evok Power has a smaller 5inch display with HD resolution and Corning Gorilla Glass protection. The Micromax Evok Power runs Android Marshmallow with the help of a MediaTek MT6737 chipset that houses 1.3GHz quad-core processor and 2GB of RAM. This smartphone has the same chipset as the #-Link-Snipped-# but at half the price. The Micromax Evok Power has an internal memory of 16GB and you can use microSD cards of up to 32GB to expand the storage. The Micromax Evok Power has an 8MP LED flash equipped camera on the rear and a 5MP camera on the front. The Micromax Evok Power also has a fingerprint sensor on the home button and supports VoLTE.
