iPhone 5C - 'C' Stands For Cheaper?

It's an open secret that Apple's engineers are working on producing a cheaper, more affordable version of the iPhone. But now the mystery over the naming of the phone is lifting up. The latest spy cam shots indicate that the name Apple's chosen for their budget friendly iPhone is 'iPhone 5C'. We'd believe that the 'C' in the name stands for cheaper. A French website called NoWhereElse has posted a photo of the iPhone 5 retail box containing plenty of iPhone 5C.

Now, the cases seen in the video do look real - but we'd advice you not to draw any conclusions as yet. Though the cases show 'FCC' marking (approval), Ubergizmo reports that no such filing has been made by Apple in recent times. This alone is enough to put a question mark on the authenticity of the leaked photos. These could very well be the cheap Chinese imitations of the phone.

We've a general question for everyone - If Apple launches cheaper iPhone - would you buy it? If yes, what'd be the price you're willing to pay?

Bring it in 15k Indian Rupees with demanding specs, and I'll definitely give it a try although I doubt it'll beat Samsung Galaxy Note 2 at any rates!

#-Link-Snipped-# : The phones aren't even confirmed yet. Apple does produce Black iPhones. I'd not expect much from these phones anyways.
