Starting with the design - The ZenPad C comes with polished metallic band that frames the edge, giving it a refined, bold look. The tablet's rear looks luxurious with its elegant embossed leather patterning and the rounded edges alongside the decorative metallic frame giving it a comfortable grip.

Though the 7-inch display on the ZenPad C comes with a sub-HD resolution (1024 x 600) screen, a bunch of technologies make the visual experience better for the user. ASUS has incorporated the VisualMaster suite that brings ASUS TruVivid (for improved screen clarity and touch responsiveness) and ASUS Bluelight Filter (to reduce eye fatigue).

The LED backlight touchscreen comes with a fully-laminated, IPS panel featuring anti-fingerprint coating.

Running atop a 64-bit Quad-Core Intel Atom x3-C3200 processor and a Mali 450 GPU, the tablet packs 1 GB RAM and 8GB/16GB internal storage. Powered by Android 5.0 (Lollipop) OS out of the box, the ZenPad C 7.0 is equipped with 5 GB of lifetime access to ASUS web storage and 2 years of 100 GB Google Storage.

The tablet features a 5 megapixel camera on the rear with f/2.0 aperture and HDR mode, and a 0.3 megapixel front web cam with an option to capture 140-degree panoramic selfies. There is only one speaker on the front that sports DTS HD premium sound quality.

The lightweight tablet is quite portable and hence ideal for use on-the-go owing to its 265g body and a 13 Wh Li-Polymer battery which is said to offer an up-time of about 8 hours.

The connectivity and navigations options include - WLAN802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth V4.0, GPS and GLONASS.

It is evident from the range of features that the Asus ZenPad C 7.0 doesn't have the best features in its category. However, it is good enough as your on-the-go buddy to take care of all your basic needs. The tagline 'Luxury on Your Terms' therefore could stand for the luxurious looks and the budget pricing.
