ASUS ROG GL552 Gaming Laptop In India - Priced At Rs. 70,999

Joining the league of Dell, HP and MSI, Taiwanese multinational ASUS is launching a high end gaming laptop called Asus ROG GL552 in India. Dell and MSI are among few of the companies that provide gaming laptops in India. The gaming equipment by Razor is quite famous but it doesn’t have a very emphatic presence here. On account of the launch, we decided to take a sneak peek into the Asus ROG GL552 laptop's specifications list and we can't say we aren't impressed.

The laptop features a full HD screen of width 15.6 inches and an IPS backlit display with an aspect ratio of 16:9 and viewing angle of 178 degree. Naturally, the most important aspect of a gaming laptop is its processing and graphic capabilities. The laptop is powered by a fourth generation i7 processor that has four cores and eight threads and has an 8 GB 1600 MHz DDR3 RAM. To deal with graphic intensive applications, it has Nvidia GeForce GTX 950M (N16P-GT) and Intel HD graphics integrated inside the laptop.

While, the HD webcam provides an intensive multiplayer gaming experience, the laptop comes with a storage space of 1TB to house your games. Under connectivity, it offers three USB 3.0 ports, a headphone and mic combo aux input, RJ45 Ethernet Jack, a VGA port, a HDMI port and the usual options of Bluetooth 4.0 and Wi-Fi. The laptop also houses an SD card reader and has built in speakers so there is no need to connect external speakers to intensify the gaming experience. With a 48Whr four cell lithium ion battery, the weight of the complete laptop is 2.6 kgs.

A few other features that the laptop is offering are SonicMaster and AudioWizard powered audio and a highlighted WASD group. Also the whole package will contain a mouse, a gaming headset and a carry bag. The price of the laptop is Rs 70,999 and will be available soon with major e-commerce websites like Amazon, Flipkart and Snapdeal.
