HTC's 4G Tablet: Competition For Apple's iPad?

What is HTC planning? This is the only question which will come to anybody's mind.  Recently when HTC along with AT&T network #-Link-Snipped-# its 4G tablet, we could not help but ask this question to ourselves. The Taiwan based company has earlier had a tablet with 7 inch display. The Tablet called Jetstream will combine a hoard of latest technologies.

The technical features of Jetstream are somewhat Hi-tech. It runcs on Android 3.1 honey comb and has 1.5 GHz dual core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor for its functioning. There are two cameras with the tablet. The front one has a resolution of 1.3 MPi and the back camera has 8 MPi flash. Jetstream boasts of a 32 GB memory and 1GB RAM. It should be noted that the memory storage of 32 GB is obtained after inserting a MicroSD card. The tablet also has EDGE/GPRS connectivity. Jetstream is touted to be the first 4G LTE/HSPA tablet from AT&T. The product features Adreno 220 graphics, a 10.1” and 1280X768 resolution screen. The Tablet is supported by HTC's Sense UX and it also works with AT&T's 4G LTE network.

As stated earlier, the question which erupts in mind is of the price tag associated with it. The retail price of Jetstream is kept $700 that too after a 'discount'. To state it clear, any customer will get to buy it with a #-Link-Snipped-# for $700. This makes us think if we should buy Apple's iPad? It costs only around $628 that too on the company's app store. However we cannot say anything about the price now and even the Apple iPad's price varies from $499 to the most expensive Wi-Fi + 3G and 64GB memory for $829.
