What does a Hack mean in Computer Science?
Well, hackers are people with hoodies sitting with colorful screens and DJ kind of keyboard and all stuff.....😆
But nothing like these movies portray. To self define this, A Hacker is someone who can do things which was not possible. He can make a program work, get through an exception, break protocols, bypass filters, fix vulnerabilities, etc...
So a hack in Computer Science is a method found by someone to perform something which was either tough to do or not possible at all earlier. Hackers need not be people who damage systems. They can fix them too.
Do you have other definitions or better ones? Post them here!
A hack is simply a tweak that works in favor of the user, and is *generally* non-destructive, non-negative in nature.
A crack, on the other hand, is intended to be destructive, negative or in several cases, illegal.
