Have you ever hacked into your college / office network?
When I was in college, Internet was very limited and we only had access to the computer network. I had broken into professor's computer - only to find that it was as empty as vacuum. But that's it.
I'm sure we've pretty neat hackers who might have done some amazing things. Share them, if you can. 😮
We broke into our college network twice but not for bad. Once we broke into our ERP system and then once in the result page. Both were reported immediately. We don't break into our organization network, we monitor them full time. But we do break into our parent incubation centre and those are used to teach our trainees and we make them also do it on live network. But we have honeypots setup which isolates the external traffic from incubation centre traffic in a way.
Yes, I broke into these networks lot of times. Still have a backdoor access to one server there. But generally we defend any attacks that happens to both college and incubation centre networks and systems. We just missed it once last year. The ERP server was affected by a ransomware using a vulnerability that we didn't notice. We weren't able to recover the data.
Cool Naveen Sunil. Can you please explain from where you started hacking. I too wanna try it sometimes
I hacked the camera of my classroom just for fun and learning. and I have also hacked the account of Dean of our college (College server). and also created a post of holiday from Dean's account. That was really amazing and toofani experience.
Can you please share the best resource for learning ethical hacking?
