Google I/O 2011 Conference: Google Chrome OS & Google Music Launch Likely

Google I/O conference is one of the largest conferences organized by Google to showcase their latest products and services. The Google I/O conference is just few hours away and it's being expected that Google will announce the launch of Google Music. The service is expected to stream about 20,000 songs free of cost. Insiders claim that Google's Music Service is inspired from Amazon Cloud Service Music Locker functionality. With this service, you will be able to stream the song collection to your desktop, laptop, android powered tablet or phone. It's expected that the service will be available only for the devices that support Adobe Flash software. This means, Apple iOS lovers will have to wait for some more time until Google works out HTML5 magic in their service. Google's service will offer improvements over other existing services by offering more space, automatic playlists etc.

Other big announcement expected at Google I/O is the full fledged, stable version of Google Chrome Operating System. The much hyped project has already been delayed by over 6 months and it's quite likely that Google will make the release today. Google Chrome OS is one of the most interesting projects Google's developers have been working on for quite long time. Android team head Andy Rubin and Chrome OS boss Sundar Pichai have important roles at the conference. It's important to note that while lot of developers have gotten their hands over the Chrome hardware and software, there are many people who haven't seen the operating system yet. Looking at the Chrome OS reported #-Link-Snipped-#, it's apparent that unresolved issues are mostly related to the graphical user interface, which are often low priority.

Google I/O 2011 conference is set to commence in next few hours in San Fransisco. Over 5000 participants comprising of software engineers, developers  from over 60 countries are expected to attend the conference. Google IO 2011 will have 110 sessions be over 261 eminent speakers and 152 sandbox partners.
