AMD Bulldozer FX - Faster Processor On Earth

AMD FX processor made a Guinness World Record for the world's fastest processor with a clock frequency of 8.429GHZ. This clock frequency beats the last fastest processor clock frequency of 8.309GHZ with the help of a team of overclockers including Sami Maekinen, Brian Mclachlan, Pete Hardman and Aaron Schradin. In a few days prior to the event AMD sent a number of processors to Brian Maekian and to Sami M?kinen to identify the best processor to make this world record and within this few days of testing, eight processors were found by them that could cut through 8GHZ of clock frequency. From that eight finally one processor handed the Guinness World Record to the FX processors.

The FX processor that made this World Record, FX-8510 bulldozer which could run at 3.6GHZ in normal conditions with 8 cores, 16MB of cache and a 125W TDP. Although this processor gave a fine output using liquid nitrogen, the team of overclockers made use of liquid helium to make the show flawless. FX-8510 can also hit a clock frequency of 5GHz just using only air or sub-$100 water cooling solutions. This processor is also expected to be released at the end of this year with a price tag of not more than $266, so any one can use this world fastest chip sooner. Also AMD is not going to hold thid crown for too long as Intel promised to bring the 10GHZ processor into the computer world.

The video below will show how they executed this overclocking successfully.
