64 GB, Class 6 Micro SD Card By Kingmax Launched

Kingmax Technologies has launched world's first 64 GB class 6 micro SD card. Kingmax has implemented 9 Stacked Die in their latest micro SD card which complies with the latest SD3.0 and Class 6 specifications. The company claims that the card is compatible with SD Card Association's SD2.0 specification. The card is capable of rapid data transfers and an ideal choice for storing files, videos, games & software. We'll however ask you to limit your excitement. Currently very limited devices are capable of supporting the 64 GB storage. So you won't be able to enjoy the 64 GB goodness right away.

In order to ensure reliable and rapid data transfer, Kingmax as deployed Error Correction Code (ECC) which acts through controller to auto detect & reconstruct data loss during any transfer. In addition, the micro SD card comes with Wear leveling algorithm function which does the job of allocation of data to various locations within the card and improves each area's average usage thereby increasing the product lifetime. The card has been approved by CE, FCC, and RoHS.
