Wii 2 Controller Rumor: Camera + Stylus + 6" Display

When it comes to gaming controllers, Nintendo sure takes a lead in innovation. Wii 2 will be officially launched at the E3 at Los Angeles on June 7 but the impatient geeks have already leaked information about Wii 2 controller. The latest information leaked says Wii 2 remote will have a front facing camera for in-game imaging and conferencing, a stylus and a huge 6" display installed right on the controller. Nintendo's game controllers generate lot of curiosity and Nintendo decided to keep the controller secret by not showing it to the game developers.

The source revealed that the controller will have a 6" touch screen LCD display and may have a stylus. It will also have a camera for the in-game imaging. We are not sure how will game developers utilize this facility. Plus, we think that the 6" screen would be a little too big for the controller. The source also said that the controller may have a standard set of buttons like PS3/XBOX controllers.

IGN recently wrote that Nintendo was in the process of partnering with AMD to develop a custom graphics processor (GPU) based on R700 architecture. According to IGN, the new Nintendo system will be capable of rendering 1080p and stereoscopic 3D videos.
