Volkswagen To Unveil "Single Seat Concept Car" In Frankfurt Auto Show
Volkswagen is trying to push the boundaries of zero emission vehicles a bit further. The automaker is set to #-Link-Snipped-# in next month's Frankfurt auto show. The concept car is set to be a unique car for the fact that there is no vehicle in market in this category. Â The only resistance which can be offered is from Segway motors-which are banned from many countries for certain reasons.

The German automaker has designed this car for perfection which exhibits a high level physics which makes it weigh less so that the engine produce almost negligible amount of Carbon Dioxide. Moreover, the fuel efficiency which you can achieve is truly remarkable. The unveiling is only 2 weeks away and the car has already started to create a buzz.
Volkswagen wants to overtake the car market till 2018 and the present attempt is a step ahead in achieving it. However when we talk of Electric vehicles like this concept car, a key feature we need to consider is the battery. Many times it is observed that the electricity that is supplied to electric cars is produced from Coal or Gas which defeats the purpose of the name "Zero emission" itself. The Volkswagen's electric vehicles will have its batteries charged from renewable sources of energy which will remove the environmental hazards of using non-renewable sources.
We expect that the concept car which will be showcased in Frankfurt auto show will not suffer the way which Sinclair C5 has sustained. Rather Volkswagen has a basis for the success of the single seat car for it has seen the mistakes which other car makers have committed. If this is possible then this will be an important milestone in the auto giant's electric vehicle segment. This year the company has significantly raised its sales figure in the first two quarters thereby inching closer to the auto industry's top spot. This is also a hint that Toyota and General Motors can be lined aside.
As per reports, Volkswagen has not till date disclosed the technical details of the vehicle. We will perhaps wait for Frankfurt auto show to begin. We will keep you reporting if there are any further updates in this regard.
