Zen Ultrafone Amaze 701 FHD Launched In India - New Addition In Full HD Section At Rs. 17,999

Zen Mobile is a brand of Teleecare Group in India known for manufaturing mobile devices for more than 15 years now. It has launched a new smartphone called the Zen Ultrafone Amaze 701 FHD which features a 5-inch IPS OGS screen with 1080 x 1920 pixel resolution. The Zen Ultrafone Amaze is the company's first Full HD phone in its portfolio and is made safe by the Corning Gorilla Glass 2. On the Amaze 701 tech specs list, we find support for Dual SIM and Android 4.2.1 Jelly Bean operating system. Powered by a 1.5 GHz quad-core processor, for storage the Zen Ultrafone Amaze 701 FHD comes with 1 GB of RAM and 16 GB of inbuilt storage which is further expandable up to 64 GB via a micro SD card.

The cameras found on this smartphone are a 13-megapixel autofocus rear one with LED flash and an 8-megapixel front-facing one - which is pretty impressive. There's a 2050mAh battery that drives the phone. Zen Mobile had launched the Zen Ultraphone U1 last year which was well received with features like a 3.5 inch HVGA (480 × 320 pixel) capacitive touchscreen, a 3.2 megapixel camera with flash, GPRS/EDGE, WiFi and Bluetooth. Previously, we had covered two smartphones from Zen Mobiles. One was Zen Z-90 Dual SIM, Twist Phone Overview & Price In India which featured Dual GSM (GSM+GSM), 2.4″ 262K TFT Screen, FM receiver, 3 Mega Pixel Camera and inbuilt MP3, Mp4 video player - all at a price of Rs. 5,999. And the Z-82, a TV enabled smartphone priced at Rs. 4,799.

It has been making to the headlines of some of the blogs that this phone could give a tough competition to the recently launched - Micromax Canvas Turbo A250 Launched - Price In India, Specs, Features & More, priced at Rs. 19,990. The Canvas Turbo features a full HD 5 inch SHARP FHD CGS (Continuous Grain Silicon) power saving display, a 1.5 GHz MediaTek MT6589T processor, 2 GB RAM, 2000 mAh battery and Android 4.2.1 (Jelly Bean) as the OS. We are looking forward to a stiff war between both these Indian manufacturers for growing sales of their respective smartphones.

    I think that they could've used a better image to promote their gadget. This one doesn't even look like it is a 5-inch smartphone.
