YU YuFit Band On Amazon India For Rs. 999 - Features Overview

Fitness band is the modern fitness enthusiast's must-wanted gadget. Jumping into the trendy bandwagon is the Indian electronic brand YU Televentures, a company partly owned by Micromax Mobile, with its latest wireless wristband called 'Yu YuFit'. The fitness band is priced very economically at just Rs. 999 and will be sold exclusively through Amazon.in. Registrations for the flash sale begin on 21st July at 12 noon and the first sale will be on 29th July at the same time.

YU brand's first mobile runs on CyanogenMod and is named Micromax + Cyanogen = Micromax Yureka: Features, Tech Specs and Price Details and the second is called Yu Yuphoria Arrives On Amazon India For Rs. 6,999 To Compete With Xiaomi Redmi 2. The company recently declared that keeping with Govt of India's appeal to 'Make in India', it is producing 1 lakh Yuphoria smartphones in India that will go on sale for the first time before 15th of August 2015, India's Independence Day.

YU's YuFit can be used to monitor the wearer's fitness levels and get notifications for pre-set alarms and reminders. The band works in accordance with the companion Android app called YUFIT and another app called HealthifyMe available for both iOS and Android users.

The company boasts of about the band by saying that it is custom built to suit the needs of an Indian body type and the Indian food habits. Much like other fitness bands in the market, YuFit lets you set daily goals and the dashboard shows your progress as you steadily move towards your goal. The interface also has provision to display the calories burnt and the steps walked. Moreover, users can alter their health plans with the 'My Plan' feature and share them online via their social media profiles right through their YuFit band.

The latest 'in' thing among fitness bands is sleep monitoring. Keeping up with the trend, YuFit does have sleep monitoring feature. It lets the user set alarm which goes off in the form of soft vibrations on your wrist provided you sleep while wearing it. There's also provision for scheduling the 'do not disturb' slots so that you don't get any notifications when doing something important.

Any wearable gadget is incomplete, if you can't pair it with your smartphone and get all the important calls, texts and appointment alerts while you are on-the-go. The OLED display of the YuFit band takes care of that for you.

With the expert connect feature available on the app, users can get access to a team of fitness trainers and dieticians who will offer programs designed specifically to your budget and schedule. These experts will take into account psychological and social factors to help you set appropriate goals for exercise, food and more.
