YouTube Analytics - Insights On YouTube Revamped!
Until now, we could know who is watching our videos from where & when through the feature launched in March 2008 called the YouTube Insights. Google #-Link-Snipped-# today about the next generation of Insights & has named is as "YouTube Analytics".  They will release the new insight to everyone into the Google Analytics over the course of the day.
Just like Google Analytics or the new Facebook Insights, the statistics provided by YouTube Analytics in its new version has some interesting features -

[*]A quick overview feature provides all of the information that you care about quickly.
[*]Detailed statistics to have more precise understanding of our content and audiences.
[*]Ability to discover which videos are driving the most views and subscriptions.
[*]New audience retention report to see how far viewers are watching through your video.

<div>Among other important features to note, there is 'Data Filter' tool which can be used to filter out information on the basis of it's content, geography or date. Reports have a Line Chart by default, which captures the distribution of a metric over the specified date range, with Date granularity & Compare metric select a second metric for comparison, which will displayed on the graph. For example, you can chart Viewers next to Unique Viewers.</div>
<div>Some reports have an "interactive map" that gives geographic distribution of the metric by hovering the mouse over specific countries.
