XOLO Q1000 Opus To Feature 1.2GHz Broadcom Quad Core Processor - Launch Soon

The Lava Mobiles' premium brand - Xolo is definitely growing by leaps and bounds - that's a verdict you'll pass, when you hear that the company has tied up with Broadcom Corporation and will be soon launching a new smartphone called the XOLO Q1000 Opus featuring their new chipset BCM23550 (Java). The XOLO Q1000 Opus technical specifications have been revealed and though there is no specific release date, but the phone will be launched by the end of November 2013 in India. The Q1000 Opus features a multi-constellation GNSS location chip on the 1.2GHz Broadcom BCM23550 quad-core cortex-A7 processor that the company say will "deliver a high performance and feature-rich experience at an attractive price".

More on the XOLO Q1000 Opus features, we have a 5-inch Dual HD display support with 720 pixel resolution LCD and external HD panel via Wi-Fi Miracast-capable displays. It will help users share and project HD photos and videos wirelessly. With the VideoCore multimedia support for an immersive multimedia experience, the Opus smartphone has support for GPS/GLONASS, WLAN, MEMs and Cell ID for the best indoor/outdoor location connectivity. The smartphone also features an 8 megapixel rear camera along with a 1.2 megapixel front facing camera equipped with BSI sensors

In the press release that was shared by the company, Sunil Raina, Business Head at XOLO, said the phone will deliver high-end multimedia experience and better search location technology on a large five-inch screen, but at an attractive price point. "Driving affordability is the key to tapping into the explosive demand for smartphones in India. Our complete smartphone platform is offered as a complete turnkey solution that allows OEMs to expedite production of full-featured, high-performance Android smartphones while significantly lowering development costs," Rafael Sotomayor, Broadcom Vice President, Mobile Platform Solutions added.

This has been particularly a great year for XOLO brand, since it has launched a series of low and mid-budget phones and phablets. The price of the Q1000 Opus has not yet been shared by Lava Mobiles yet. But as soon as more information is out, we will keep you updated.
