Xolo Launches LTE-Supported LT2000 To Compete In Budget Market

Popular Indian smartphone maker Xolo has launched 4G LTE supporting smartphone for Indian consumers. Called as Xolo LT2000, the smartphone would be available on e-commerce store SnapDeal, and is now displayed on company’s website. Earlier in December 2013, Xolo launched LT900 with LTE support. The smartphone falls in sub-10k price range as Xolo wants to compete with other prominent companies which are launching LTE-capable budget devices. Xolo would like to enjoy its share as consumers are showing interest in Lenovo and Xiaomi devices and Motorola too have plans to launch 4G version of Moto E (2nd generation) 2015 soon.

Coming to specifications, Xolo LT2000 is powered by 64-bit 1.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 quad-core processor coupled with 1GB RAM. It sports 400MHz Adreno 306 GPU. The smartphone runs Android 4.4 KitKat and the company has assured that it will be upgradable to latest Android Lollipop. This might help Xolo to woo consumers for LT2000. The smartphone has got 8GB internal storage, expandable up-to 32GB via supported microSD card slot. It feature 5.5-inch HD display with resolution of 720x1280 pixels. The screen is protected with scratch-resistant Dragontrail glass.

The latest smartphone offers 8MP auto-focus rear camera with LED flash and BSI 2 sensor along with a 2MP front shooter for selfie-lovers. The rear camera has capability of full HD recording at 1080p. The phone has dimensions measuring 74.8 x 115 x 7.8 mm and packs a good 2920mAh battery. Apart from usual connectivity features like Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, A-GPS etc. it supports micro-USB with OTG, 4G TDD and FDD LTE. Xolo has unveiled a new phonebook app called 6degrees. The self-updating app offers features with calling, messaging and managing connections. It updates the phonebook, whenever contacts change their details. The app would be available for LT2000 by next week via OTA update. The smartphone offers dual-SIM compatibility but there’s no color choice for consumers as it comes only in Black. Xolo LT2000 would be available at Rs 9,999.
