XOLO A510s Runs Android Jelly Bean On A 1.3 GHz Dual Core Processor For Rs. 7,499

Regional smartphone manufacturer XOLO has quietly unveiled the newest member of its range of Android smartphones, #-Link-Snipped-#. The smartphone tries to impress its buyers by flaunting a metallic finish body instead of the conventional matte finish that is found in the phones in this price range. The 4-inch IPS panel display has a FWVGA (480 x 854 pixels) resolution with a pixels per inch figure of 245. Under the hood you get a decent MediaTek 6572 chipset that houses a 1.3GHz dual core processor, 1GB of RAM and a Mali-400 MP graphics processor unit. While Karbonn Karbonn Unveils Titanium Hexa, Titanium Octane & Octane Plus Android KitKat Smartphones, XOLO is still dishing out Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean) with the A510s.

The photographic capabilities of the A510s also remain average thanks to its 5MP rear sensor with LED flash and a front VGA snapper. The rear camera is also able to record and playback videos up to 720p resolution. As the internal memory is a paltry 4GB you will have to use microSD cards to expand its storage to up to 32GB. Connectivity options include Bluetooth 4.0, microUSB and Wi-Fi. Other highlights of this smartphone are 3G connectivity, A-GPS navigation and operator video calling. The XOLO A510s is powered by a 1400mAh battery that is claimed to offer up to 13 hours of talk time and 424 hours of standby.

XOLO like every other regional manufacturer is dishing out smartphones every now and then. Last month they had released the XOLO Q1100 Launched; Android Jelly Bean On A Snapdragon 400 Processor For Rs. 14,999 and the month before the XOLO Q700S Unveiled; Quad Core Processor & Android Jelly Bean For Rs. 9999. So will you be favouring the Rs. 7,499 priced A510s over its more pricey siblings? Let us know in the comment section below.
