Xiaomi Mi Max: Snapdragon 650/652, 6.44inch Full HD Screen & 4850mAh Battery

Chinese electronics manufacturer Xiaomi has taken things to the next level by unveiling their new phablet, the Mi Max today in China. Xiaomi has supersized everything on the Mi Max, from the display to the battery to the internal memory. The smartphone runs the new MIUI 8 Android customisation skin that is based on Android Marshmallow. The MIUI 8 consists of features like power saving mode that freezes background app activity, limiting chain start-ups, multi window management, redesigned gallery and calculator and the option of splitting the phone into two accounts for managing apps with different signups. Moving on let’s discuss the Xiaomi Mi Max in detail.

The Xiaomi Mi Max has a smooth metal body that is 7.5mm thin and weighs just 203 grams. The Xiaomi Mi Max has a fingerprint sensor on the rear similar to the Xiaomi Redmi 3 Pro: Fingerprint Scanner, 3GB RAM & 4100mAh Battery. The Xiaomi Mi Max will be sold in three different variants with the same humongous 6.44inch display with Full HD resolution. The first variant with Snapdragon 650, 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage will cost you 1499 CNY or Rs. 15,335. The second mid-range variant with Snapdragon 652, 3GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage will cost you 1,699 CNY or Rs. 17,382. Finally the top of the range model with Snapdragon 652, 4GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage will set you back by 1,999 CNY or Rs. 20,447. You can buy the Xiaomi Mi Max in Silver, Gold or Dark Grey colour variants.

When it comes to the cameras on the Xiaomi Mi Max, we have got a 16MP Phase Detection Auto Focus sensor on the rear and a 5MP 85 degree wide angle sefie shooter on the front. All the three variants have a hybrid dual-SIM slot that can add an additional microSD card for storage or a second SIM card. The Xiaomi Mi Max is powered by a huge 4850mAh battery that can easily last for two days on average use. The Xiaomi Mi Max comes with 4G, Wi-Fi, microUSB and Bluetooth connectivity. The Xiaomi Mi Max goes on sale in China sometime next week and we have no information if the smartphone will make its way into other countries like India or not.
