Windows Smartphone 7.5 – New Launch by October 2011

After launching the Windows 7.0 based smart phones, Microsoft has made an agreement with Nokia, which is believed to be the world’s largest phone seller. Under this deal Microsoft and Nokia plan to launch smart phones based on Windows. These phones will be launched by the end of October 2011. But will this phone prove better than the pre-existing Android and iOS is the query. Microsoft has put forth the basic hardware conditions that a phone must contain to sustain Windows Phone.

Features: Windows Phone 7.5 as tried on HTC Radar, that is a 3.8 – inch, WVGA, a touch screen model equipped with 1Ghz processor, 512 MB RAM, an internal storage of 8 GB and 5.0 mega pixel camera. This phone belongs to the lower spectrum of Windows Phone devices, and hence operating system can be tried on this model. This phone has the best phone book and other social networks in its functioning. To promote this, Microsoft promoting the phone with the tag line “putting people first”. Multiple emails and messages could be sent to number of people in the group as well as updates from people belonging to a particular group could be seen at a time. Photographs can be viewed of all the people and all this happens flawlessly. It has facilities like Google Talk and Facebook chat. Selecting a particular thread does not lead to a new screen rather it opens it in the same window saving the need to click one more back button. It has software for voice commands. There are a decent collection of apps which was missing in Windows phone 7.0. it has a complete Microsoft Office Suite, has a new version of Internet Explorer.
