What is the basic difference between load cell and strain gauge?

Load cell also uses beam and yoke assembly. Is that cantilever beam assembly is a load cell? Because it also measures the load and weight.

Better question: Why is load cell a "cell" and why is strain gauge a "gauge"? 😁
