Watch 2014 Football World Cup In 4K - In Japan!

Those who experienced the 4K broadcasting technology at the CES this year, share a common thought - it blows minds. Japan could soon become the first country in the world to have an official 4K TV broadcasting. According to#-Link-Snipped-#, Japanese Internal Affairs & Communications Department is planning to broadcast the 2014 football world cup in full 4K (aka 3840 x 2160) resolution!

Japan will use its own communications satellites instead of its standard TV signal broadcasting satellites for the 4K UHD transmission. All we can say is that you should start saving - because both the actual ticket to the matches & 4K TV are going to disturb your budget. We bet 8K UHD transmission isn't faraway. We'll keep you posted.
