Tizen screenshots - Look what's coming to Samsung's next!

Sammy Today has published early screenshots of the upcoming Tizen mobile operating system from Samsung. Tizen is Samsung's own mobile OS that will rival Google's Android. The Tizen seen in following screenshots is from 2.1 (while the current OS version is 2.2.1). It looks like the screenshots are rather old (taken back in February 2013).

It's being rumored that Samsung was granted patent for this user interface. Take a look and share your thoughts below. Do you like what Samsung's designers have been creating?

TizenOS development team emphasis on HTML5, so does Firefox. So, don't get surprised if Mozilla, Samsung & Intel join their hands in future.

BTW, It's more of Apple-Samsung rivalry than Android-Tizen rivalry.

It's good that we are getting great options available to choose from various OS but we can come to a decision only when we have a hands on experience on it.I like the calling screen especially but will Samsung completely bank on Tizen or it would be like Bada OS?
