The New Zenfone 3 Laser At Rs. 18999 Promises To Be A Delight For Photography Enthusiasts

India’s one of the most happening autumn days have now infused people’s choice for online shopping. Eyeing that, the Taiwanese consumer electronics company ASUS has just unveiled its premium quality medium-priced, camera-centric smartphone in India named ASUS Zenfone 3 Laser (ZC551KL). As the delivery channel, the company partnered with Flipkart and now it is a click away to get your own product.

Unless you haven’t already set your budget for something very specific, you need to have a look at this for valid reasons. Talking to the point, the sole focus is given on its camera – especially the rear one steals the show. If you strip its offerings you will get to see a laser auto-focus lens in work which comes coupled with other valued parts of PixelMaster 3.0. A 13 MP Sony sensor module with large f/2.0 aperture lens will place objects in-focus in only 0.03 seconds. Also, electronic image stabilization (EIS) and an automatic color correction sensor will provide true-color pictures and videos without instrument-originated odds. The young PixelMaster in the market offers Back Light (HDR) Mode, Low Light Mode, Manual Mode, Super Resolution mode that enhances the photographs, matching a DSLR quality. The front one having an 8 MP in its store comes coupled with a Beautification mode to establish a pro-like editing.

Here It Is - The Zenfone 3 Laser

Zooming out, let us first focus on the structure of this stylish metal-made gadget. The metallic body with hyperfine sand-blasting finish features a regal look. With only 7.9 mm thickness you will feel its sleek enough. For now, it’s only available in Glacier Silver and Sand Gold variants. The grip effective phone boasts of a 5.5-inch display coupled with 1920 x 1080 FHD resolution. Unlike the rumored bezel-less Apple iPhone 8 Tipped To Usher Revolutionary Changes In Smartphone Design, Zenfone 3 Laser prefers a 2.58mm bezel clubbed with a 77% screen-to-body ratio and a protection, secured by a 2.5D Corning Gorilla Glass.

The diamond cut fingerprint sensor is placed on the rear side with 5 fingers support and quick sensing technology. Powered by a 64 bit octa-core Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 430 equipped with GPU Adreno 505 and a 4GB LPDDR3 RAM, the phone is a multitasker in a true sense. This phone is stuffed with a non-removable 3000mAh battery that can last up to 22 hours in standby mode. Storage wise, it is full house – sporting a 32GB or 64GB option that could be expanded up to 128 GB with microSD option.

Speaking of extra parts, ASUS has given special attention to its 5 magnet speaker supervised using ICEpower technology – a class D amplifier balancing each integrated conditions. The screen flashing in front of your eyes will have the latest ZenUI 3.0 blended with Android 6.0 Marshmallow. Surely a well-connected phone, you can call it as it supports 2 SIM slot up to standard 4G, 802.11b/g/n, Bluetooth V4.2, 3.5 mm audio jack and a stack of sensors including Accelerator, E-Compass, Gyroscope, Proximity sensor, Hall sensor, Ambient light sensor, RGB sensor etc. And all of these inside the phone will be yours if you meet the price limit Rs. 18999.

Personal View: You can go for it. Knowing that the price seems high and again the specifications will be just all talks, ASUS has already set its own place by assuring benchmark quality for its products. Comparing with other similar products it states its camera sensing and processing module too - proving the quality should not be compromised. However, non-removable battery is the only thing which will keep me thinking for a final call.
