The New 2015 MINI Cooper S Price In India And Specifications Out
BMW's specialised small cars brand MINI has unveiled a new car in India with MINI Cooper S. Being sported with the tagline 'Alluring Athlete' with the red S badges on the front as well as rear, the new 2015 Cooper model is a part of the three-door line up from BMW Mini. The design of the new Cooper S ride boasts of a big air intake front grille featuring the signature black honeycomb pattern, whereas if you look at it from the rear end, you will see the two fog lights placed around the double exhaust tailpipes. Powered by the four-cylinder MINI Twin Power Turbo engine which delivers max power of 192hp @ 4,700 - 6,000 rpm and max torque of 280 Nm @ 1250 rpm, the MINI Cooper S is said to be proper quick. Within 6.8 seconds, it can go from 0 to 100 km/h and go further up to a top speed of 235 km/h.
The MINI Cooper S mileage is marked at 6.8 litre per 100 km (urban) and 4.6 litre per 100 km (extra-urban). The ARAI rated fuel efficiency is 18.2 km/l. The new Mini is bigger than the outgoing model. It measures 3,821 mm in length, 1,414 mm in height, 1,727 mm in width and 2,495 mm in wheelbase. As we take a look down the technical specifications list of the all new 2015 MINI Cooper S, we find 133 g/km Co2 emissions, a 211 litre of bootspace and a 44 litre fuel tank capacity. With the rear seats folded, the new 3-door Mini can ingest up to 731 liters of luggage.
The new Cooper S model is going to be sold in India as the Completely Build Unit. As an optional feature, Mini Cooper S features wider 17-inch cosmos spoke light alloy wheels. Equipment on the new MINI comprises front and passenger air-bags, 3-point seat belts, Dynamic Stability Control, crash sensor, Anti-lock Braking System and Run-flat indicator. The new MINI Central Display is optionally available with a 6.5 inch display or the huge 8.8 inch widescreen version.
