    Engineering Discipline:

Absolute Zero makes a re-entry with the tech predictions for 2014. Thanks to the overwhelming response to Absolute Zero Engineering Humor at -273.15 Celsius. We hope you will enjoy the strip and share it with your friends (and foes). All the social networking icons you need are at the top and bottom of this page! In this strip, Absolute Zero creator @Deepak Gopalakrishnan takes a dig at what can we geeks expect from 2014.

@Deepak Gopalakrishnan Can we have a smaller version of these comic strips?
Like 6 panel comics - 3 in the first row and 3 in the second?
Just a suggestion. It will make reading and sharing easier.

Deepak is probably giving a 5BHK with his strip like the one AAP Kejri refused (later) at Delhi.

Loved that thing about Apple iphones. It is nothing but brand image.

It now seems Barney Stinson's wall TV is soon going to be a reality.
As per Apple it will surely bring another device which is just slightly better in terms of tech specs and add in a 'retina scanner' this time or cram even more pixels in a 6-inch screen. I do feel sorry for Blackberry who innovated but in the wrong direction. With CES 2014 starting tomorrow and many more events lined up in 2014 we will be waiting for an actual innovation instead of a revamp.

Forgot to mention about the Google Glass, it is a remarkable product from Google and I sure like the way Google has been patient in launching it to the public. Selected users have been trying out the Glass and giving opinions on improving the device. Google has been quite quick on delivering new features and upgrading the Glass. With the Google Glass the company shows the proper way in which a new technology like wearables should actually be launched. Companies like Samsung just launch a half baked product (Gear) just to grab market share.

The 2BHK joke was epic and I'm already thinking engineering students would have come up with a ton of 'unintended' uses of Google Glass & Smart Watch ;)
