Sony Xperia E4 4G Variant Release Date Set In April 2015

Not long ago, Sony launched the highly awaited and well documented Xperia E4. The phone was a mid-range phone with decent specs. But what it failed to offer was the 4G connectivity which the competing companies like Motorola have already started to offer with their new handsets. So, Sony has now come with the 4G variant of its Xperia E4 known as the Sony Xperia E4G.

Although, besides the ability to offer 4G connectivity, most of the specifications of the E4 and E4G are same, but there are a few subtle differences here and there. Let us have a glance at the specs that the phone has to offer. The E4G counterpart comes at same powerful battery of 2300 mAh and a battery life that will last 2 days despite the option of 4G connectivity. This phone will have a smaller screen of 4.7 inch as compared to Xperia E4 which had a 5 inch display. However, both the phones will have the same resolution of 960x540 pixels.

Unlike its 3G variant which had the Android 5.0 Lollipop out-of-the-box, this phone will have the Android 4.4.4 KitKat which is a disappointing trade-off for those wish to buy the LTE phone. Sony Xperia E4G will have a slightly powerful processor of 1.5 GHz than the Xperia E4 which had 1.3 GHz processor. This phone will also have the Battery STAMINA mode to regulate power management and Ultra STAMINA mode to preserve the battery for even longer duration.

Availability and pricing in other countries is yet not known.
