Simmtronics XPAD Amazoid M1, Fundroid Q1 To Q5 Smartphones Launched In India

Simmtronics, the Delhi-based brand in tablets and PC components, has forayed into the smartphone market in India with the launch of Simmtronics XPAD Amazoid M1, Fundroid Q1, Fundroid Q2, Fundroid Q4 and Fundroid Q5. These 5 smartphones have a range of features for the users so that they can choose what they need. Licensed by Ericsson for access to 2G, 3G, and 4G LTE networks across the globe, Simmtronics will soon make these smartphones available through retail stores as well as Snapdeal and Flipkart soon. Though the prices of these phones are not yet out, we have the features and specifications for each of these. Let us take a look at them one by one.

Simmtronics Xpad Amazoid M1 features a 4.7-inch touchscreen display with multi-touch support. Powered by a dual-core 1.2 GHz mobile processor with 512 MB DDR3 and 4 GB internal storage, the Amazon M1 sports a memory card slot to accommodate up to 32 GB microSD card . In the front, it has a 2 megapixel camera while at the back there is a 5 megapixel camera. This dual SIM handset packs 1800 mAh battery and runs Android 4.2.1 Jelly Bean. The Xpad Fundroid Q1 has a 3.5-inch LCD Retina display and is powered by 1 GHz processor with 512 MB DDR3 RAM and 4 GB internal storage. This smartphone runs age old Android 2.3 Gingerbread OS. It has a 2 megapixel camera at the back and #-Link-Snipped-# camera in the front. By default, this Dual SIM handset packs 1400 mAh battery.

Xpad Fundroid Q2 features a 4-inch display with 480x800 pixel resolution. This smartphone is powered by a 1 GHz processor and 512 MB RAM. It runs on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich operating system and has a memory card slot. This smartphone also packs 1400 mAh battery. The Fundroid Q4 has a 3.5-inch display with HVGA resolution and runs Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich update. It is powered by a 1 GHz mobile processor with 256 MB RAM and memory card slot. This dual SIM smartphone is powered with 1200 mAh battery. Last one on the plate, but not the least tasty is, Fundroid Q5 has 4-inch LCD display and runs Android 4.0 ICS. This smartphone is powered by 1 GHz mobile processor with 512 MB RAM and features a 5 megapixel camera at the back. This dual SIM smartphone packs 1400 mAh battery.

    Xpad looks quite promising and a improved RAM would be nice.

    Outdated OS in the fast paced world but a front camera presence makes it a nice try.

    Xpad fundroid Q2 and Q5 is a decent entry and Fundroid Q4 is the worst entry with a mere 256MB RAM which i dont think can handle Android 4.0 without trouble.
