SEGA Pass Hacked! 1.29 Million User Accounts Broken! Credit & Debit Cards Safe!

SEGA Pass - SEGA company's #-Link-Snipped-# has been hacked and early reports indicate that over 1.29 million user accounts have been broken. The stolen information includes usernames, passwords, real names, birth dates, email-ids - everything. It's however important to note that the credit card and debit card information is intact.

SEGA PASS Hacked

After Sony's PSN and Qriocity #-Link-Snipped-#, SEGA PASS hack is the biggest hack that has rocked the online community. Although credit card information is not stolen, all the SEGA PASS members ad advised to keep a close eye on the credit card account transactions and update your passwords, email ids and security questions associated with your CC accounts. SEGA Pass website is currently display following message on their front page -

Hi. SEGA Pass is going through some improvements so is currently unavailable for new members to join or existing members to modify their details including resetting passwords. We hope to be back up and running very soon. Thank you for your paitence.

SEGA's engineers are currently working on fixing the problems. It's interesting to note that LulzSec hacker group, which proudly announced that they were behind the SONY PSN hack are #-Link-Snipped-#to cooprate with SEGA pass users.
