Samsung Unveils An iPod-Like Device – Galaxy S WiFi 3.6
Samsung has launched Galaxy Wifi 3.6 which is an Android device without a calling facility.

If you think why do you even need such a device, then you need to be reminded about Apple iPod’s phenomenal success. This is Samsung’s iPod to put it simply. Who knows, maybe more lawsuits from Apple are in order! It offers all the multimedia features of a normal Samsung smartphone; only without the phone features!
Since it has Android, you can install all the apps that you normally would on a smartphone. You can browse the web with ease as well. It is surprising how much Android has changed the technology world; powering new gadgets towards greater functionality.
It goes unsaid that Samsung has always provided brilliant displays for media. The Samsung WiFi has wide-range codec support for music and video playback. There’s DivX video support, as well as WMV support (up to 720p resolution).
Prices start from £149 for the 8 GB model and £169 for the 16GB model. Both Galaxy Wi-Fi 3.6?s will be offered in both black and white color versions.
