Samsung Galaxy Tab S 10.5 And 8.4 Launched - Feature Super AMOLED Display

Samsung has announced the addition of a new member to their Galaxy Tab family with a new tablet called the 'Galaxy Tab S', which is said to have the most advanced display. The thinnest and lightest tablet ever produced by the company, the Galaxy Tab S will come in two sizes - 8.4 inch and 10.5 inch. Both of them have a WQXGA Super AMOLED display having a screen resolution of 2560 x 1600 pixel. Having a contrast ratio of 100,000:1, this Super AMOLED display will provide deeper and more realistic images by making blacks darker and whites brighter.

The Galaxy Tab S will be powered either by an Exynos 5 Octa (1.9 GHz QuadCore + 1.3 GHz Quadcore) or by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 2.3 GHz Quadcore processor. It will run on Android 4.4 Kitkat and will have 3 GB of RAM. It will have an internal storage of 16 GB or 32 GB and will be expandable to 128 GB. On the rear there is an 8-megapixel cam with LED flash whereas it has a 2.1-megapixel Full HD cam on the front. The 4,900 mAh( for 8.4 inch) and 7,900 mAh( for 10.5 inch) batteries will provide enough juice for a day.
