Samsung Galaxy On8: Octa-Core Processor, Full HD Display & LTE For Rs. 15,900

Just a few days ago we had the impressive Lenovo Z2 Plus: Snapdragon 820, Fingerprint Sensor & VoLTE For Just Rs. 17,999 launch and now we have Samsung’s answer to that with the new Galaxy On8. The Samsung Galaxy On8 is going to be a Flipkart exclusive and will be up for grabs on October 2nd at the beginning of the Big Billion Days sale. The Samsung Galaxy On8 goes away from the plasticky looks of earlier mid-range smartphones from the company and opts for a diamond cut finish on the sides and brushed metal finish on the rear. The Samsung Galaxy On8 will be available in Gold, Black and White colour variants.

Just like most newer smartphones from Samsung the Galaxy On8 has an sAMOLED display which has full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) resolution and measures 5.5 inches. Underneath the hood we have a 1.6GHz octa-core processor probably from Samsung’s Exynos range along with 3GB of RAM to run Android 6.0 (Marshmallow). The Samsung Galaxy On8 has an internal memory of 16GB and a microSD card slot for memory expansion. The Samsung Galaxy On8 has some impressive cameras, 13MP camera on the rear and 5MP camera on the front. Both cameras are equipped with LED flash.

The Samsung Galaxy On8 has been equipped with LTE Cat 6 connectivity along with regular connectivity options like Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.1, microUSB and NFC. You can find an accelerometer, proximity and hall sensor on the Samsung Galaxy On8. The Samsung Galaxy On8 is powered by a 3300mAh battery. The Samsung Galaxy On8 measures 151.7 x 76 x 7.8mm.
