Samsung Debuts TabPRO Tablets In 12.2, 10.1 and 8.4 inch Size Variants

Samsung has launched its TabPRO series of tablets at the ongoing Consumer Electronics Show 2014. The TabPRO series of tablets from Samsung feature Android 4.4 (KitKat) and will be available in three size and connectivity variants. The tablets have been aimed at professional users who want a bigger and powerful tablet for work. The TabPRO tablets come with a Remote PC feature that lets users access and control their home or office PC. The new Magazine UX lets users organize their favourite content like news feeds or apps in a dashboard for easy reading experience.

The tablets will be available in 12.2, 10.1 and 8.4 inch displays. Two of the tablets (12.2 and 10.1) feature a Snapdragon 800 2.3GHz Quad Core processor in their LTE variants and Exynos 5 Octa (1.9 GHz QuadCore + 1.3 GHz Quadcore) processor in their Wi-Fi and 3G variants. The 8.4-inch version will be sold with the Snapdragon processor only. All the models feature 8 MP auto focus rear camera with LED flash and a 2MP front camera and are capable of recording Full HD videos. The Samsung TabPRO tablets will be available in 16 and 32 GB internal memory variants and will have a microSD card slot for memory expansion. Despite their varied screen sizes all the models have a WQXGA (2560 x 1600) resolution super clear LCD display. All the tablets feature Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0 and USB connectivity options and rely on GPS and GLONASS for navigation. Pricing and availability details for the TabPRO tablets are still awaited.
