Portable X-Ray Units Are For Humans & Animals Too!

Yokohama based Job has announced the launch of PORTA - a series of portable X-ray units. Two of the first five units in the series are meant for humans and the rest are for animals. The units were in development for about a decade years, since 1997. The company had announced the commercial launch of their portable X-ray units in 2006 meant for animal applications and new machines for human applications were launched in 2010. Though these units aren't fundamentally different; they adhere to the different regulations in the countries they are sold in.
