Shifting from JAVA to Data Analysis Or Testing? - Please advice

Hi,
I am a software professional working in a product based company.we use CORE JAVA technology.I have almost 3 years of experience.I am planning to shift the job but I am not confident about coding, basically I feel that i JAVA seems to be tuff for me and i will not be able to handle the stress. On the other hand my lead also has suggested I am good at data analysis, data configuration and testing and continue the same instead of coding.does.My friends have advised me to take up testing or analysis.I am not able to decide whether to move to analytics or testing. Please suggest which could be better for my career. If I choose analytics what should i start with and will my development experience count if i change my career.

Getting new role in new company is little rare, generally they hire on your experience. Whereas if possible try to shift your role in current company and be there for some more time. This will add experience with same company for longer period and it's much more comfortable.
In testing, experience is required. In analysis degree (MBA) or certification matters.
I would suggest to change your role in current company itself whatever suites you and then shift job after a year or two to get exposure.
